Severe weather cancels Valley View Hospital’s second dose COVID-19 vaccine clinic for February 19

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, COLO. – Due to winter storms affecting the delivery of vaccines across the country, the second-dose clinic scheduled at Valley View Hospital for Friday, February 19 is canceled. Valley View apologizes to those affected by this change but these are circumstances outside of the organization’s control.

All those affected are automatically rescheduled for next Wednesday, February 24 at the SAME TIME as the original appointment. There is no need to contact Valley View Hospital.

Valley View Hospital receives its vaccines thru national and state shipping operations. Unfortunately, these operations have been negatively impacted by severe weather. Valley View recognizes that this is a delay in the original schedule. However, per the CDC, the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine can be administered up to six weeks following your first dose.
